Since many of Julie's books are set in Chicago (and even Ollie, at the White House, was born in Chicago) the images gracing this website's pages are of familiar Chicago sites. You'll see the Water Tower, a couple of skylines, and the Marshall Field & Company clock.

The Field's Clock is a bittersweet reminder of a wonderful Chicago icon. As much as Julie enjoyed visiting Macy's in New York, it belongs in New York. Not on State Street in Chicago. Let's all work together to bring Marshall Field's back: http://www.fieldsfanschicago.org/
